The mercury target spallation eqipment vessel at the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC) generates neutron beam by injecting accelerated proton beam from the beam window, and spallation of mercury’s atomic nuclei flowing through the mercury vessel. We manufacture containers to store activated mercury targets. Since airtightness is essential, they are shipped after helium leak testing.
