Yoshida’s story begins back in 1923 and has a history of almost 100 years till today.
Since 1961, our company has been expanding our business by designing and manufacturing welding equipment for nuclear energy field such as glove boxes. Most notably, as a result of responding to various orders from custom-made products for R&D to mass-produced products, our organization has achieved high efficiency by forming a integrated three divisions: designing, machining, and welding.
Our second factory has opened on June 30, 2018, and it features five-sided processing machines (3.6m x 8m x 1.7m). From now, we move forward to focus on large-scale welding and large-scale machining products, and manufacture oxygen-free and moisture-free glove boxes by developing Yoshida’s core isolation technology, cultivated over many years.

| April, 1923 | Hisao Yoshida the First has founded and begun as private company (Located at 8-817, Hon, Mito City) |

| August, 1945 | The factories were burned to the ground during Mito air raid. |
| December, 1945 | Relocated a factory to 7985 Tanaka, Nakaminato City and started operation as Yoshida Iron Works. |
| April, 1959 | Ken Yoshida became Representative Director. Reorganized and renamed to Yoshida Iron Works Co., Ltd. |
| March, 1961 | Received orders of glove boxes from Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation. |
